35 RIU hotels named in TripAdvisor awards

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel platform, recently announced the winners of the Travelers' Choice Best of the Best awards. Five RIU hotels received this award, which identifies and classifies travellers’ favourite accommodation options based on real reviews. Another 30 hotels were named in the Travelers’ Choice awards, which recognise establishments that constantly get excellent reviews and maintain their rating between 4 and 5 over a 12-month period. RIU has received a total of 35 awards.

The international RIU chain was founded in Mallorca by the Riu family in 1953 as a small holiday firm and is still owned by the family's third generation.
