TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025: Travellers rank the best hotels globally!

On behalf of its more than 20 million guests, TUI Group proudly announces the winners of the TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025, honouring the finest hotels and resorts from around the world. The ceremony, held in Berlin, brought together industry leaders, top hotel brands, and hospitality professionals to celebrate hoteliers who have made a specific effort to deliver the absolute best in hotel experiences. The winners are determined entirely by guest feedback, and this year's winners represent record high satisfaction scores (CSQ).

The TUI Global Hotel Awards serve as a benchmark of excellence, celebrating the hard work and dedication of hotel teams worldwide. The breadth of TUI's global portfolio is represented through the awards, including small family run hotels, boutique hotels, large resorts, beach hotels, spa and wellness centres, ski resorts and city break hotels.

Best Hotel Globally: Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites with a 4th consecutive win

The highlight of the ceremony is the Best Hotel Globally Award, which crowns the hotel with the best customer feedback scores across all markets and all categories. For the fourth consecutive year, this title was awarded to the Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites in Rhodes.

Best Newcomer - Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel

This year’s awards feature new categories, Best Newcomer being one of them. The recipient of this award has made it into the Top 100 list this year and has the highest accommodation score of all the new hotels on the list for the period under review.

The Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel is dedicated to providing authentic holiday experiences, ensuring guests enjoy their luxury accommodations and exceptional service. The Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel is a luxurious 5-star, all-suites, adults-only hotel located in Paphos, Cyprus. Situated directly on a private sandy beach, the hotel offers an exclusive and tranquil environment for guests seeking a serene getaway.

Best Hotel Cities - H10 Casa de la Plata

This category recognises and celebrates the city hotel in TUI's portfolio which have received the highest accommodation score among guests from all source markets the hotel is available to. The Best Hotel Cities Award was presented to the H10 Casa de la Plata for their excellent attention to quality and service.

H10 Casa de la Plata is a newly built four-star hotel located on a charming pedestrian street in the historic centre of Seville. The hotel's design is inspired by a traditional Seville home, with colourful ceramic tiles decorating the walls. The breakfast restaurant offers access to an exclusive typical Andalusian courtyard, and on the roof, you will find a splash pool with panoramic views of the city.

TUI Sustainability Award – Akra Hotels investing in 100% green energy

This award recognises the most exciting, inspiring, and innovative hotel sustainability initiative of the last 12 months. Whether through transforming hotel operations or supply chains in response to global environmental challenges. The TUI Sustainability Award 2025 was given to Akra Hotels for their investments in 100% green energy. The group has been highly dedicated to sustainability for many years already and drive several impactful initiatives across their business. Their latest investments in a photovoltaic power plant project showcases the ambition to become self-sufficient, to reduce electricity costs and to contribute to carbon reduction and sustainable development. Their three solar power plants, located in Elamli and Alanya region, have a total capacity of more than 12 MW and will supply four hotels of Akra Hotels with electricity from renewable energy sources.

Honorary tribute to Carmen Riu - A pioneer in tourism

At the core of the tourism industry are individuals and organizations that have redefined hospitality. The Lifetime Achievement Award honours those who have made a lasting impact.

At the TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025, Carmen Riu, former CEO of RIU Hotels & Resorts was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for her visionary leadership in the hospitality industry. She has left a lasting mark on RIU Hotels & Resorts and the global tourism landscape. Starting her career in 1977 as manager of the Hotel Riu Bali in Playa de Palma, Carmen rose to become co-CEO alongside her brother Luis in 1998, steering the company through unprecedented growth and challenges. Under her leadership, RIU expanded internationally, growing to 98 hotels across 21 countries and welcoming 6.7 million guests in 2024. Her decision to retire in 2025, after nearly five decades of service, marks the end of an era for RIU, but her legacy of innovation, expansion, and dedication to quality will continue to shape the company and the industry for generations to come.
