The annual TUI Global Hotel Awards, which shine a spotlight on our top 100 hotels worldwide, could help you pick. But how are the winners decided, and who chooses which hotels make the cut? The short answer is… you! Over 16 million TUI customers, in fact, have helped pick the best hotels from around the globe. The winners are based on satisfaction scores, and all the customer feedback is looked through with a fine-tooth comb, to ensure only the elite make the cut.

This hillside hotel doesn’t have a bad angle – it looks like an ancient Greek amphitheatre, and flaunts panoramic views over Vlicha Bay. The sea-view gourmet restaurant and pair of infinity pools helped it take home gold, too. You also had a lot of praise for its location – there’s a beach just down some steps, and it’s a five-minute drive from Lindos’ cobbled streets.
