TUI Cruises operates in the premium volume segment with modern vessels under the Mein Schiff brand. Hapag-Lloyd Cruises leads luxury and expedition cruises in the German-speaking as well as international markets with 5-star ships. Marella Cruises serves the UK, offering diverse formats, including family-friendly and luxury cruises tailored to British guests.
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is the leading provider of luxury and expedition cruises in the German-speaking markets and sets international standards with its flagships. Five vessels, each with five stars, make Hapag-Lloyd Cruises the highest-rated cruise brand in the 'Insight Guides – Cruising and Cruise Ships 2025.' The luxurx vessel EUROPA 2 emerges as the best ship across all categories with the highest score, closely followed by the EUROPA. In the expedition segment, the company sets out on a worldwide course of discovery with three ultra-modern ships at 5-star level. In May 2019, the “HANSEATIC nature” was added to the fleet. The bi-lingual ”HANSEATIC inspiration” joined in October 2019. Since 2021, the expedition ship HANSEATIC spirit, which is identical in construction, has also been part of the fleet.
Marella Cruises offers several formats in the UK market. From family holidays via city breaks to luxury cruising, the company caters for a diversity of segments. “Marella Discovery”, which has launched in June 2016, and the “Marella Discovery 2”, which has been launched in May 2017 are part of the fleet. In May 2018 the “Marella Explorer” was launched. A year later in April the “Marella Explorer 2” joined the Marella Cruises family. The British company has also taken over the previous Mein Schiff Herz and converted it accordingly for the demands of British guests. The ship was put into service in spring 2023 as Marella Voyager.
