TUI selected as partner for icelolly.com’s new activities offering

TUI Group, one of the world’s leading tourism groups, has been selected by Ice Travel Group as the partner for the new tours and activities service on its package holiday comparison and deals website, icelolly.com. TUI is powering a digital platform that adds a new 'Activities’ section to the icelolly.com website and app.

The new 'Activities' section of the icelolly.com website and app enables customers to search and book 55,000 excursions, activities and attraction tickets across more than 100 countries and 1,000 locations. Experiences will be available in key destinations popular with icelolly.com users including city break and beach destinations across Europe, the U.S. and the Caribbean. They include everything from street food walking tours with a local in Rome, a parasailing adventure in Key West in Florida, an e-bike mountain tour and tapas tasting in Gran Canaria and a whale and dolphin-watching yacht trip in Tenerife.

The platform provided by TUI will also be utilised to set up new pre-holiday communication channels to enhance sales and customer service.

Experiences on icelolly.com are available to book now and the business is planning for immediate sales, adds Singer; “As travel continues to open up and bookings come in for the next few months and next year, we expect experiences to be popular in key European city break destinations such as Rome, Paris and Amsterdam, and sun locations including the Mediterranean, Canaries and the Caribbean. Experiences such as 4x4 tours of the less-visited North of Lanzarote or catamaran cruises in the Caribbean greatly enhance our offering.”

The agreement with The Ice Travel Group continues TUI’s strong growth in tours and activities including a steadily increasing number of partnerships with high-profile UK businesses.
