Starting this summer holiday season, guests will have the convenience of booking holiday packages across Oman Air's network, including destinations in Oman, Europe, the Far East, and beyond. The streamlined online journey will allow travelers to combine flights, hotels, ground transportation, tours, experiences, and more into dynamic packages or individual bookings. This partnership will cater to the needs of many traveler segments with curated travel options.
The partnership agreement was signed 3 March 2025, just before the start of the ITB in Berlin, the major platform for the global travel and tourism industry. At the joint meeting during the ITB, representing TUI were David Schelp, Executive Board Member and CEO Markets + Airline, and Danyal Kaya, who is heading the TUI Airline Holidays business. Renata Rached, VP Brand, Guest Experience & Loyalty and Ahmed Ali Al Mahrouqi, VP Sales, were present for Oman Air.
David Schelp, CEO TUI Markets + Airline, commented: "We are excited to collaborate with Oman Air as a new partner for our platform. This partnership will provide travelers with a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful and promising country of Oman, as well as destinations around the world, supported by Oman Air's exceptional service. Both TUI and Oman Air will reach new customer segments and generate additional revenue."
"We are delighted to partner with TUI to offer our guests a completely new way to plan and experience their travel. Designed for those who seek the assurance of a complete package holiday, our platform will provide unmatched convenience, quality, and affordability, along with the safety and security requirements specific to each destination," said Michael Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Oman Air.
