What do you enjoy most in your job with TUI in Tunisia?
I appreciate receiving mostly positive feedback from clients regarding transfers and excursions. It is also a delight to see my team working in such an amazing environment and accomplishing their tasks efficiently. Managing the operations of four airports and eight areas is a fulfilling challenge.
What is special about Tunisia?
Tunisia is known for the diversity of its nature: from sandy beaches, the Sahara and oases to a 3000-year-old archeological richness. My favourite highlight is Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, a magnificent white and blue town on a hill by the Mediterranean Sea.
Which beach would you recommend in Tunisia?
One of the best beaches in Tunisia is the one in Mahdia, one of the “top best 15 beaches on the continent of Africa” according to Tripadvisor. I especially recommend it to those who love crystal clear water and fine sand.
What local food should visitors try in Tunisia?
You definitely need to eat Couscous when you visit Tunisia, especially the one prepared with fresh fish and pumpkin. It is very delicious and nutritious.
What is the best experience in your region that no visitor should miss?
Our “Sahara Explorer” excursion allows visitors to discover the amphitheatre in El Djem, one of the biggest and best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world. The excursion also includes a visit of the Troglodyte habitations in Matamata and the location shooting of one of the Star Wars movies. The jewel in the crown is the Camel Ride on the dunes of the Sahara desert and the Jeep Ride to the mountain oasis of Chebika.
… that Tunisia is home to eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites?
