What do you enjoy most in your job with TUI in Cyprus?

It is exciting and challenging to ensure our guests are getting their best holiday. Personalising the guests experience is one of my top priorities, going the extra smile and delivering service from the heart is all in a day’s work.

What is special about your destination Paphos?

Paphos has a very warming village feel. Get lost in the old town, or take a stroll down to the medieval harbour, built around the time of Alexander the Great. The city has many temples, built in honour of the goddess Aphrodite, and a number of baths every guest should visit. Legend has it that those who bathe in these waters become younger and more attractive.

Which beach would you recommend in Paphos?

Coral bay is by far the nicest beach in Paphos, famous for its crystal clear waters! It is a very popular beach so if you get there and it's too busy for you, my little secret is the beach of Corallia. This is where the locals tend to go.

What local food should visitors try in Paphos?

Cypriots are famous for their Souvla or BBQ. Huge chucks of marinated pork shoulder, slow cooked on a rotisserie over flaming hot charcoal. Head towards the Akamas Peninsula, north of coral bay, an area untouched by tourism. Here you will discover the very best Souvla. Whilst in Paphos you must try a Brandy Sour – such a refreshing drink.

What is the best experience in your region that no visitor should miss?

The “Flavours of Cyprus” is an absolute must! Trying your own lemonades at the citrus plantations and tasting the local products of the traditional smokehouses are just some of the stops you will be making. The rose factory you visit is incredible, bathe in all the rose petals and the smell of the roses will linger with you for days! If you’re a real foodie, you'll adore this day out!

Did you know …

… that Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea? Only Sicily and Sardinia are larger.
