In the framework of our international oneBrand-strategy all of our European tour operator brands will be (re)named to TUI until the End of 2017. Also in Belgium: Jetair became TUI. On 10 November, almost 1,500 Belgian colleagues celebrated the TUI brand in Brussels. In addition, numerous colleagues with international roles had arrived from the Netherlands and from the other European markets and the headquarter in Hannover in order to celebrate the TUI brand migration. The brand migration was celebrated in a converted train station hall featuring stalls, food trucks and two stages.
TUI Group CEO Fritz Joussen addressed the party guests: “Thank you very much and congratulations to each and every one of you for this great success.”
Elie Bruyninckx, Member of the Group Executive Committee – Region West, was also impressed with the performance of all employees and the their good mood. He also underlined that the unaided brand awareness of TUI in Belgium already reached more than 50%. The employees look forward to the new brand world and are enthusiastic about being a part of “TUI”. The giant rebranding project was summarised in a video:
