A better future for Dominican youth

In the Dominican Republic a lack of access to good quality education is stopping many young people benefiting from the employment opportunities opened by the thriving tourism industry.
High levels of teenage pregnancy rates and youth unemployment are leaving some of them vulnerable to different forms of exploitation TUI Care Foundation has joined forces with Plan International Nederland and launched a TUI Academy to use tourism as force for good and to open new opportunities for these local youths. Estefany, an alumna of the TUI Academy, tells us her story in this video.
