RIU Hotels & Resorts opened the new 4-star Riu Astroia hotel in Bulgaria at the start of the summer season. The demand for holiday trips to the Eastern Mediterranean is increasing, Bulgaria also benefits as an increasingly popular tourist destination. The Riu Astoria is located directly on the Golden Sands, one of the most beautiful destinations on the Black Sea. It provides modern architecture and extensive services, specifically designed to attract families.
The 4-star all-inclusive hotel offers a wide range of family entertainment. The "RIULand" club for boys and girls, as well as the children´s playground and pool will delight all youngsters. The Riu Astoria with its 538 bedroms lies directly on the seafront promenade, a few meters from a 7km long sandy beach. The nearby pedestrian area has many shops, bars and restaurants. It is the only hotel brand in Golden Sands and the sixth in Bulgaria, with properties already established in destinations such as Obzor, Pravets and Sunny Beach.
