The acquisition of the new hotel marks a debut in the sector. Due to changes in the law in Greece, a public auction was held in Greece for the first time. TUI’s joint venture Atlantica successfully submitted the winning bid. The three former Lakitira hotels have been officially integrated into the portfolio of the world’s leading tourism group, and one of the hotels has now opened under the popular adults-only brand.
With the new TUI SENSIMAR Atlantica Belvedere Resort & Spa hotel, TUI Group is expanding its offering exclusive to adults in the island of Kos. The popular adults-only hotel brand will increase its portfolio in Greece to 15 this summer.
The resort offers pure relaxation, in particular for couples, with 238 rooms across 17 buildings. It has a prime location by the sea featuring a private beach section. Beyond sunbathing and relaxation, guests can also participate in the extensive sports programme, comprising sports courses such as yoga, step aerobic or barbell training sessions, two tennis courts, a fitness centre and a beach volleyball court, as well as windsurfing or sailing opportunities.
