TUI SENSIMAR sets sail

The TUI SENSIMAR hotel brand will make a debut by offering its guests a round trip yacht cruise on a four-star sailing ship from 6 May 2019. Sixteen guests each will have the opportunity to enjoy an eight-day adults-only sailing voyage across the Turkish Aegean.

The three-masted wooden motor sailing yacht M/Y SENSIMAR 1 with a length of around 40 metres offers its passengers space and comfort: Eight modern double cabins with a combined living area and bedroom as well as en-suite bathroom provide comfortable accommodation aboard the ship. All services including full board for the guests are provided by the crew, comprising a skipper, a captain and a chef.

Sailing trip along the Turkish coast

The round trip will start at the port of Fethiye, taking the guests to many different corners of the Turkish Aegean. The guests will have the opportunity to enjoy sailing and the landscape on sea days, sunbathe on the deck or swim in the sea. They will also be able to discover various places around the Mediterranean. The historical port towns offer a wide range of attractions from ancient sites and ruins with Lycian rock tombs all the way to bars and cafes. The guests are also offered activities and excursions.

With M/Y SENSIMAR 1, TUI will include a sailing yacht in its adults-only hotel portfolio for the first time. In its first season, the floating hotel will exclusively be available for booking by guests from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
