Every year, innumerable eggs are hidden at Easter – in the house, in the garden and in parks. But aboard a cruise ship? Yes, certainly! Examples include the ships of TUI’s cruise company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. Children aboard Europa and Europa 2 can take part in many Easter-themed activities in the run-up to Easter, including making Easter cards or painting eggs. “And, of course, the Easter bunny comes to visit each year,” the youth team promise. It hides its coveted gifts in the Europalounge aboard Europa and in the Kids’ Club aboard Europa 2. Adults are also included in the Easter-themed activities. They can take part in the Easter brunch, the Easter lunch and the Easter family pool fun. Easter gifts and Easter delicacies are also being presented to the crew.

Egg hunt at sea
Passengers taking an Easter cruise with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises or TUI Cruises do not have to forego their Easter traditions.
TUI Cruises’ onboard programme also includes numerous Easter-themed activities. The ships of the Mein Schiff fleet feature Easter decorations. Passengers get together in the ”Große Freiheit“ area for the egg hunt. Moreover, the eggs hide special surprises: they contain little gifts such as invitations to fitness activities or spa offers such as facial massages. Further surprises await the passengers in the Easter prize draw. The guests and crew can also attend Easter services and devotions.
