Every year, children, in particular, look forward to Easter – after all, this is when the Easter bunny will be coming to hide Easter eggs and bring small gifts. But what if the family spends the Easter break in a hotel for their holiday? Many holiday resorts of TUI Group have taken care to arrange family-friendly Easter packages - provided, for instance, at TUI MAGIC LIFE Club Kalawy. On Easter Sunday, the Egyptian club situated on the Red Sea offers an “Easter coffee break” with coffee, cake and eggnog as well as activities such as egg paining, face painting and a lot of Easter decoration. “All rooms will also receive a little greeting from the kitchen”, says Finja Kühnberger, Guest Service Manager at TUI MAGIC LIFE Kalawy. For Easter Monday, the Club staff have also filled their Easter baskets with some surprises. They organise an Easter rallye with an egg hunt for the children and a picnic for all guests.
TUI hotels offer special Easter surprises
Unusual egg hunt
Easter eggs also exist in Italy, but usually they are not hidden. That is why the enthusiasm observed at Toscana Resort Castelfalfi is all the more unusual. Unlike Italian tradition, the TUI resort in the Montaione region, situated in the heart of Tuscany in the centre of the magical triangle of Florence, Siena and Pisa, has virtually developed its own tradition in the region. On Easter Monday, the medieval village, transformed into a modern holiday resort by TUI, will hold its sixth “Easter egg hunt”. Groups of children go on a hunt to find eggs hidden in the alleyways and parks of the resort – and the team that finds the most eggs wins a huge chocolate egg. “We face a very strong response in the region” says Elisa Biagini, Marketing & Communication Supervisor. “Alongside our hotel guests, hundreds of children from the surrounding region take part in the event every year.”
Sporting Easter activities are also offered by the 23 ROBINSON Clubs around the world. From hiking tours via Easter runs to a blindfolded football tournament - the ROBINs have prepared many different activities for their guests. The highlight in numerous Clubs, however, is the “golden egg hunt”, as the winner will win a travel voucher. Here, ROBINSON Club Khao Lak in Thailand is breaking new ground, hiding the “golden coconut” at Easter.
Spending Easter in a hotel is thus worthwhile, not just for the young generation. After all, adults will also benefit from a getaway with TUI to escape the stress associated with the festive season over Easter, just as over Christmas: they can wind down, relax, and enjoy the surprises.
