New TUI Sensimar hotel in Egypt

TUI is recording strong growth in bookings of Egypt. Meanwhile, demand for Summer trips to the North African country matches demand in the Winter season. This trend goes hand in hand with an increase in demand for adults-only hotels. With TUI Sensimar Makadi Gardens, a new hotel of the adults-only concept opened in Hurghada at the beginning of April.

The hotel, which will be operated by TUI’s joint venture partner JAZ, had been comprehensively refurbished in the past few months. Alongside the 147 rooms, the restaurant has also been upgraded and the spa area has been expanded.

Culinary experiences and relaxation

The hotel offers its guests the opportunity to go on a culinary tour around the world. Apart from a main and an à-la-carte restaurant, holidaymakers can also discover culinary delights in the seven restaurants of the adjacent Makadi Resorts. During daytime, couples will find relaxation at one of the three pools, during sports activities or in the spa. A private beach is just a short stroll away.

The TUI Sensimar Makadi Gardens hotel targets international guests. Due to rising demand for Egypt, the hotel will now also be included in the German tour operator’s programme.

Twelve further TUI Sensimar openings are scheduled for the Summer season. From Summer 2020, the hotels will be shifted to TUI BLUE to be clustered under the global lifestyle hotel brand, continuing to target couples in search of relaxation as a “TUI Blue For Two“ hotel.
