What are TUI customers’ favourite travel destinations? The tourism group has published its new TUI Holiday Atlas for Spring 2019, sharing interesting insights into the holiday decisions taken by TUI customers in several European countries. We are presenting the particular characteristics of some of these holiday destinations in TUI’s Easter Special “Spring Highlights”.
Hurghada on Egypt’s Red Sea coast is a popular holiday resort, known as Egypt’s largest travel destination. Located directly on the coast, Hurghada is a perfect place for beach lovers and scuba divers.
Millions of tourists visit Egypt every year for many reasons. Tourism in the country is currently making a genuine comeback: All year round, Egypt offers bright sunshine, fantastic glimpses of a unique underwater world, and opportunities for excursions to millennia-old cultural sites
Hurghada is an attractive travel destination, in particular during the Easter period. In April, temperatures range between 17°C and 28°C. At zero rainy days a month and around 10 hours of sunshine a day, Egypt’s climate is perfect for avid sunbathers.
Egypt’s traditional cuisine is very popular among tourists: Alongside falafel, hummus and tahini, national dishes also include fuul. Fuul is a traditional dish of fava beans, prepared in many different ways.
Must-see experiences include the underwater world along Hurghada’s coastline, offering some of the world’s most beautiful diving areas. Divers and snorkelers will enjoy a unique holiday experience discovering spectacular biodiversity, old shipwrecks and beautiful coral gardens.
