We are continuing our growth path – on February 9, 2019 TUI Cruises welcomes their new fleet member, the new Mein Schiff 2, in Lisbon. Just like Mein Schiff 1, which was put into service last year, the new build is part of a new generation of ships. Both ships are about 20 meters longer than the previous ones. In addition to more space, there is an even larger selection of cabins and suites. Guests can look forward to the design of the exterior and interior areas – various interior designers ensure that the ship is versatile and varied, but at the same time harmonious in its design.
At the moment the ship is in Kiel and will be handed over to TUI Cruises on January 22nd. First pictures of the new Mein Schiff 2 can be found in our picture gallery.
Currently, TUI's fleet includes 16 cruise ships. By 2026, six more ships are to be added to further expand the position of our cruise liners TUI Cruises, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and Marella Cruises in the market.
