TUI Group welcomed its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 from Seattle/USA. TUI has ordered a total of 70 Boeing 737 MAX to modernise its fleet. This aircraft type consumes less fuel and is emission-efficient. The first aircraft will be operated by TUI fly Benelux. The transfer was made on Monday at Boeing in Seattle. After a nonstop flight over 8,500 kilometers the 737 MAX 8 landed in Brussels on Tuesday morning and was received by the CEO of the TUI Group, Fritz Joussen as well as TUI fly Benelux staff.
