- TUI presents flying brand ambassadors
- TUI Group advertises its core hotel brands on Group-owned aircraft
TUI continues its growth path by expanding its core brands in Hotels & Resorts: The Group is planning to significantly expand its global portfolio of Group–owned hotels with the RIU, Robinson, TUI Blue and TUI Magic Life brands and the Sensimar, Sensatori and Family Life hotel concepts in the next few years. In future, TUI Group’s growth strategy in the hotel segment will also feature on its own aircraft. A total of seven planes will be operated as flying brand ambassadors in the skies and at the airports.
“Our own strong hotel brands and concepts showcase TUI all over the world. They enable us to create extraordinary holiday experiences for our customers and stand out from our competition. TUI offers end-to-end holiday experiences from a single source. Our customers are offered advice, service, flights and hotels under the roof of our Group. We underpin the strength of our integrated Group by turning the aircraft of our airlines into brand ambassadors for our hotels,” said Fritz Joussen, CEO TUI Group.
This morning, a naming ceremony was held at Hanover Airport for a Robinson and a TUI Magic Life aircraft, representing the currently five aircraft featuring the special livery. The naming ceremony was attended by Fritz Joussen, Sebastian Ebel and Dr Elke Eller, members of the Executive Board of TUI Group, as well as managing directors of the subsidiaries and around 400 Group employees. The godmothers of the planes were Dr Elke Eller and Susanne Löffler, a TUIfly flight assistant. Planes with a special livery featuring the Sensatori and Sensimar hotel concepts will follow before the end of the year.
The TUIfly Boeing 737-800 planes will carry TUI customers to different destinations around the Mediterranean, advertising the relevant brands wherever they will take off or land.
