In time for the start of the ski season, TUI Group expands its portfolio of exclusive hotels in the Alps with the TUI Blue Pulse Schladming in Austria. With today’s opening of the fourth TUI Blue hotel, the new experience hotel brand offers the first hotel for winter sports enthusiasts.
“By adding ‘Pulse’ to the brand name, we mark TUI Blue hotels in the 3-star category in special locations. The hotels offer modern design and a slightly reduced product concept, but are preferably located in regions offering a wide range of leisure activities. In Schladming in Austria, for instance, directly at the ski lift of a well-known World Cup venue,” said Artur Gerber, Managing Director TUI Blue. Blue Guides offer individual services for the hotel guests and are available as experts for the holiday region. The new hotel in Austria also features further TUI Blue hallmarks such as modern architecture, regional balanced cuisine and cutting-edge technology.
The TUI Blue Pulse Schladming with 107 rooms is located in the centre of the resort with the same name, about 90 km southeast of Salzburg in the heart of the Dachstein-Tauern region. Nature-loving and sporting couples, singles and groups find numerous ski slopes and endless hiking trails around the adults-only hotel (15+). The 3-star hotel is located directly on the ski slope and offers direct on-site access to the valley station of the Planai-Hochwurzen cable car. From there, the 4-Hills- Ski Area offers countless slopes of varying difficulty for skiers and snowboarders. In summer, the mountain scenery is an ideal destination for hiking, mountain biking and adventure sports for active holidaymakers.
In the next few months, the TUI subsidiary will consistently pursue its growth roadmap. TUI Blue Fleesensee (4.5 stars) will open in Germany in December, followed by Il Castelfalfi – TUI Blue Selection in March 2017, the first 5-star hotel of the brand. From next summer, the offering will be rounded off by TUI Blue Jadran (4 stars) in Croatia. The portfolio of the experience hotel brand, only launched this year, also includes two hotels in Turkey and one in Tenerife.
