TUI Sensimar is TUI’s hotel concept for couples and adults travelling in twos without children, attaching importance to peaceful, stylish, comfortable hotels offering personal service and varied culinary experiences. Most of the four- to five-star hotels are located right at the shoreline, offering their guests a low-key entertainment programme. All Sensimar hotels are ‘adults only’ resorts only bookable by persons aged above 16 or 18. The first Sensimar hotels were opened at the start of the 2009 Summer season. The brand now operates around 50 hotels in several countries. In the last Winter and Summer seasons, new Sensimar hotels were opened in a number of destinations including the Cape Verde Islands, Maldives and Sardinia. This clearly shows that adults-only hotels remain in vogue and cater to holidaymakers’ preferences.
