Cruises are a great future market for TUI. Apart from hotels, cruises are our most important growth segment. In a few years’ times, these two segments will account for more than half of our Group’s results. We continue to grow and massively invest in our hotel and cruise portfolio.

Cruise captains are held in high esteem. They bear great responsibility and are the bosses on board. Kjell Holm has been going to sea for more than 50 years, and now he stands at the helm of Mein Schiff 5, the newest member of the TUI Cruises fleet, due to be launched at Travemünde on 15 July.

2016 marks the second year in which Wybcke Meier has successfully managed TUI Cruises in her role as CEO of TUI Cruises. The cruise company has continued its positive development and provides a lasting contribution to the Group’s growth.
