The all-inclusive TUI MAGIC LIFE club brand currently offers 13 clubs in five countries. By 2019, the portfolio will grow to 16 resorts in six countries. Currently, around 390 entertainers work at TUI MAGIC LIFEclubs. “Depending on the size of the club, we employ around 30 entertainers per club on average,” says Eva-Kristin Othmer, Manager Entertainment Staff Placement. “Of course, our total entertainment team will grow in line with our annual growth.” The particular hallmarks of the brand’s entertainment team are passion and cultural competence: TUI MAGIC LIFE’s entertainers are from more than 30 different countries – from Brazil via Germany all the way to Sint Maarten. “Entertainment definitely is not a one-way road,” explains Eva-Kristin Othmer. “This is shown by the high proportion of entertainers who have worked with us for many years and constantly develop themselves.” Alongside these colleagues, of course, there are also ‘runaways’ who spend a few months with us as part of our Magic Family and subsequently return to their ‘old life’ in their home country. At the end of the day, this mix and the many different cultures and mentalities are our ‘Magic salt in the soup‘.“
