Captain Jens Troier : From a small village to the world’s oceans

Captain Jens Troier loves variety and has gained experience with numerous types of ships. Most recently, he was in command on the bridge of the expedition ship HANSEATIC nature from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

Growing up in a small Swabian village, he knew after his military service in the Navy that there was no going back, his future lay at sea. After his patent at the State Seafaring School in Cuxhaven, he sailed on container, cruise and expedition ships. We are pleased that Captain Jens is now back on board the Mein Schiff fleet.
