Hotel growth in Mexico

In the midst of Mexico's best travel season, RIU has opened a new hotel in the popular holiday destination. The Riu Palace Kukulkan with 428 rooms and seven restaurants is located directly at the beach in Cancún. The five-star adults-only hotel offers 24-hour all-inclusive service. With this new opening, TUI Group’s long-standing joint venture partner is supporting hotel growth in destination to visit all year round.

New "Elite Club by RIU" service

One of the special features of the new hotel is the "Elite Club by RIU" service. Customers can book special rooms with sea view and enjoy further benefits such as separate and personalised check-in as well as late check-out. A welcome gift with personal letter from the hotel manager, a bottle of wine or sparkling wine in the room, aromatherapy and a liquor dispenser with a selection of premium drinks are also among the amenities.

The new opening is the brand's 22nd hotel in Mexico. RIU now employs about 9,000 employees in the Caribbean and Pacific states of the country.
