It's that time again: we warmly welcome this year's 33 trainees and dual-study students to the TUI Campus in Hanover. To give our new colleagues a good and, above all, healthy start, we have created the Healthy Training Day. What is the aim of this? We want to show what TUI does for the health and well-being of its employees and who the contact persons are on the subject of health.
The day started for the trainees and dual students with information from the company health management: In addition to various preventive check-ups and vaccinations, this also included the TUI Wellbeing Days and an initial psychological consultation. The program continued with insights into various health areas, which provided participants with valuable information for their working and private lives.
And then the participants got active themselves: for example, they identified stress factors and developed suitable solution strategies to promote their psychological well-being.
Then things got dicey: They coped with a simulated fire alarm, including building evacuation, and received tips for setting up an ergonomic workplace – an important aspect in times of mobile working.
The topic of nutrition was also designed to be interactive. In groups, the trainees and dual-study students worked out how to behave in certain eating situations. Afterwards, the ingredient lists of various foods were examined closely. At the end of this informative day, there was a relaxing massage and meditation, during which the participants were able to really relax.
We would like to thank all the colleagues who put together this colorful program and helped organise this day. We wish our new colleagues an eventful time at TUI.
And for all those who are still looking for a suitable apprenticeship or dual study program: Please feel free to drop by here. Perhaps you will already be at TUI's next Healthy Training Day.
