TUI is transforming into a digital platform company, our business is changing. This also means that some job profiles in IT will change. Learning and further training are therefore important topics. With the new development programme "for:ward" for colleagues in IT, TUI supports employees in learning new things - so that they can take on new tasks within TUI in the future. As part of the programme, some of them are made fit for new jobs – such as DevSecOps Engineer or Data Engineer. They learn for three to six months in the programme and can devote up to 50 per cent of their working time to it. In addition, for:ward offers access to online learning courses for colleagues who want to expand their knowledge. But what does a DevSecOps Engineer actually do? We asked Marco Moscatiello, DevOps Lead at the TUI Mobility Hub in London. As DevOps Lead, he leads a team that includes DevSecOps Engineers. DevSecops Engineer is one of the job profiles at for:ward that colleagues can develop into as part of a programme lasting several months.
