TUI has once again made it into the prestigious Sustainability Yearbook 2021. The Yearbook showcases the sustainability performance of the world’s largest companies and includes the top 15% of companies in each industry.
Each year, TUI completes and submits a detailed Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment outlining our performance against ESG criteria (Environmental, Social and Governance).
Manjit Jus, Global Head of ESG Research, S&P Global: “We congratulate TUI Group for achieving a place in The Sustainability Yearbook 2021. With over 7,000 companies assessed, an inclusion in the yearbook is a true statement of corporate sustainability excellence.”
This achievement is recognition of our longstanding commitment to making our sector more sustainable and the progress we have made across our business and with our partners to drive this transformation. TUI`s current sustainability strategy “Better Holidays, Better World” was implemented in 2015 and set ambitious goals to make holiday offers along the entire travel value chain more sustainable. An update of this strategy will be presented later this year and further strengthen TUI´s commitment to sustainability.
