for:ward with TUI as a Data Scientist

TUI is transforming towards a digital platform company, our business is changing. This also means that some roles and work scopes in IT will change. With the new development program “for:ward” for colleagues in IT, TUI is supporting employees to learn new skills so that they can take on new tasks within TUI in the future. As part of the programme, some of them will transition to new roles – like data scientist or data engineer –  on a three to six months learning path alongside their job spending up to half of their working time on the programme. In addition, for:ward will offer access to online learning courses for colleagues who want to expand their knowledge. But what does a data scientist actually do? We have asked one!
