Today winners of the new TUI Global Hotel Awards have been unveiled. Based on customer feedback, the awards celebrate the outstanding quality and service delivered to TUI’s customers by its hotel partners. TUI has also recognised hotels that have demonstrated their commitment to sustainability.
The awards were due to take place earlier this year, but due to the pandemic had to be postponed. As tourism has gradually re-started, and TUI operations have resumed with the re-opening of some destinations and hotels, TUI felt it is the right time to share the results of its first Global Hotel Awards.

Helen Caron, TUI Group Purchasing Director said: “Congratulations to our winning hoteliers and their teams on their outstanding and well deserved achievement. On behalf of everyone at TUI Group, we would like to thank each one sincerely for the unique and exceptional holiday experiences they delivered to our customers in 2019. We would also like to take the opportunity to thank all our hotel partners for their support and resilience over recent months.”
After travelling with TUI, customers have the opportunity to give feedback and rate their satisfaction with their holiday, including their hotel stay. These Customer Satisfaction Questionnaires (CSQs) form the basis for selecting TUI Global Hotel Award winners.
The new TUI Global Hotel Awards bring together long running regional awards – the Northern Region Hotel Awards in London, and the TUI Hollys in Berlin.
Over the past few years, TUI has undergone a major transformation, including all major European tour operator brands migrating to TUI. Therefore, new Group-wide awards for all hotel partners have been introduced.
Small, socially distanced presentations with winners are now happening locally.
