Ski vacation in a fairytale world

Surrounded by dense pine forests and with just 5,000 inhabitants, Kransjka Gora is quite tranquil – but in the calendar of the Ski World Cups, the north of Slovenia is a real hotspot. The international ski athletes has been stopping here for 50 years. But the trip to the area near the border with Austria and Italy is not only attractive for professionals. In addition to the World Cup location Kransjka Gora, other ski areas like Bohinj and Bled also offer excellent conditions for ski vacationers.

Along the Julian Alps, you will find the most popular ski areas in Slovenia. All of them have gentle, uncrowded slopes. Excellent ski schools make Slovenia a popular choice, especially for beginners and families. Even experienced skiers can experience slopes with high levels of difficulty. Another plus is the landscape. Especially in winter Slovenia offers a magical picture with snow-covered forests and frozen lakes.
