Newly built TUI SENSIMAR opens in Egypt

The newly built TUI SENSIMAR Alaya Resort & Spa opened its doors for its guests in July. The 5-star hotel, designed in a luxurious and contemporary style, features 290 rooms. It targets couples and adults aged 18+, seeking to spend their holiday in a getaway for couples. Guests can relax and unwind in the hotel’s wellness area including a sauna, steam room and beauty treatment rooms.

Discovering the underwater world

The hotel is situated in a beachfront location on the shores of Coraya Bay, a popular resort. A jetty on the beach facing TUI SENSIMAR Alaya Resort & Spa leads directly to the crystal clear water and the house reef. Here, guests can explore Egypt’s underwater world, swim, snorkel and dive. They can also discover the varied cuisine: The five speciality restaurants offer great culinary diversity with Italian, Lebanese, Asian and Oriental dishes.  

Demand to Eastern Mediterranean destinations is growing. Apart from Turkey, a popular destination with holidaymakers, Egypt is also recording strong growth in booking volumes for the forthcoming Summer season. Earlier this year, TUI SENSIMAR Makadi Gardens situated close to Hurghada opened at the beginning of April. Overall, TUI Group’s portfolio in Egypt includes 45 hotels of different Group brands.
