All employees at Riu Tikida hotels are practically vaccinated

  • Over 98% of the employees at the six Riu Tikida hotels in Morocco have been vaccinated
  • The single-dose vaccine was administered in the hotels’ facilities

The employees of the six Riu Tikida hotels in Morocco began their vaccination process at the beginning of July, making even safer the visit of tourists who decide to travel to this marvellous country. The vaccination programme is drawing to a close as over 98% of employees are already vaccinated at the hotels Riu Tikida Palmeraie, Riu Tikida Beach, Riu Tikida Dunas, Riu Tikida Garden, Riu Palace Tikida Taghazout and Riu Palace Tikida Agadir. This figure shows that 100% of employees in the vaccination age range have already received their dose. The remaining 2% of employees will be vaccinated when the vaccination process is opened for their year of birth.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was administered, meaning that only one dose is required to provide protection against COVID-19. The vaccines were provided in the hotels’ facilities, which had been properly set up for this purpose. They were administered by authorised members of staff from the Moroccan Ministry of Health.

Customers will now be able to enjoy their holiday in Morocco with maximum safety guarantees. In addition to our vaccinated employees, all of our hotels also have the “Welcome Safely” certificate as a safety guarantee, and not to mention the 17 RIU protocols that have been successfully put in place at all of the chain’s hotels, all with the aim of ensuring our customers enjoy the uncountable wonders of this destination in a safe space.

The facilities of the six hotels have everything our guests need to enjoy their holiday with their family, partner or friends. This variety is made possible thanks to the wide range of dining and entertainment options. What’s more, the hotels Riu Tikida Beach and Riu Tikida Garden are Adults Only to offer a more intimate and exclusive holiday to couples or adults that are travelling alone.
