The TUI Blue hotel located in Toscana Resort Castelfalfi has been recognised as Europe’s Best Luxury Wine Estate Hotel at the 2018 World Luxury Hotel Awards. At the award ceremony held in Bali, TUI Sensimar Caravel Resort & Spa in Greece was also recognised as Best Luxury All-Inclusive Retreat. “The presentation of the 2018 World Luxury Hotel Awards has shown that our Group-owned hotel brands and concepts are offering exceptional service and unique travel experiences,” said Sebastian Ebel, member of TUI Group’s Executive Board in charge of Hotels & Resorts. “The presentation of the international awards and the trust our customers place in us are a very special recognition of the success of our hotel brand strategy.”

The World Luxury Hotel Awards are awarded every year to honour outstanding quality standards and exceptional services in the hotel sector. More than 300,000 international travellers rate luxury hotels in more than 99 different categories. Hotels participating in the award process are given the opportunity to present their top products and unique selling propositions.

TUI Blue is TUI Group’s new premium hotel brand. The hotels feature modern design, cutting-edge technology and the holistic Bluefit concept for fitness, nutrition and wellness. The 5-star hotel II Castelfalfi – TUI Blue Selection, located in the heart of Tuscany, opened in March 2017 after a two-year construction phase and has been very popular since then. The hotel is part of the formerly abandoned medieval village of Castelfalfi, which has delivered an essential contribution to the economic recovery of the region since it was extensively restored by TUI Group. The estate around the luxury hotel produces high-quality organic wines and olive oil from sustainable production. The adjacent 27-hole golf course, immersed in the Tuscan landscape, will soon be complemented by a club house.

The hallmarks of the 5-star TUI Sensimar Caravel Resort & Spa in the Greek island of Zakynthos are its modern design and its high-quality adults-only offering. Located directly on the beach, it offers sport programmes as well as wellness & relaxation. Restaurants offering a wide range of culinary delicacies and a snack bar ensure an all-inclusive package for a carefree holiday experience.
