David Schelp has been a member of the TUI Group Executive Board since January 2024. As CEO Markets & Airlines, he has been responsible for the tour operator business in all source markets as well as TUI Group's airlines since 1 January 2024.

Schelp already held positions at TUI from 2002 to 2022 and has gained a wealth of management experience in various areas during his career with the Group. David Schelp has led the realignment and transformation in many of these areas and developed new growth areas for the TUI Group. After taking over responsibility for the traditional destination management and the tour guide services in the destinations worldwide as Managing Director in 2009, he strategically and commercially aligned this area for the future: the acquisition of the Milan-based digital and travel tech start-up Musement took place in 2018 on Schelp's initiative. With Musement, TUI'straditional destination service business became a leading international provider of activities, experiences and tours in holiday destinations. In 2022, David Schelp decided to work outside TUI and became a co-partner in Turbopass, a leading provider of digital city passes, and was its CEO until 31 December 2023.

David Schelp was born in Hong Kong in 1974. He completed his Bachelor's degree in European Business Administration at ESB in Reutlingen and London. Schelp is married and has two children.
